LONDON – A British man has been arrested after he sold Viagra to a dealer in the UK, following a court trial.
The man, who was identified as 27-year-old Martin Lee, was found guilty at a trial in June in London, in the High Street courts. He was arrested on suspicion of having a habit of selling ‘herbal Viagra’ and possessing an unlicensed medication.
The dealer then sold the medication to a customer on the internet, under the trade name of Kamagra, on the same day, according to court documents. He admitted to the sale of the medication and sold the unlicensed medication to a customer on the internet.
The court heard that Lee, who was working as a pharmacist for a UK-based pharmaceutical company, had a habit of selling prescription medicines ‘in the UK’. In order to get Kamagra, Lee had to have a prescription from a doctor in the UK.
